At Kadinsky we’re all about cannabis education. You should know what you’re using, how it works, and what it might do, so you can make your own smart choices.

What Is Cannabis?

Cannabis comes from the Cannabis sativa plant. You might call it weed, mari, ganja or grass. The flower buds are what you smoke. Hash is the resin from those buds, pressed into a block. The buzz you feel, being high or stoned, comes mainly from THC, short for tetrahydrocannabinol. Each strain or type of hash has different THC levels. That’s why we show the percentages on our menu. Transparency matters.

What Cannabis Does to You

Cannabis can take the edge off pain, chill your emotions, and make food sound like a great idea. It can also slow your reflexes, shift how you see and feel things, and knock you sideways if you’re not ready. That’s why you should never drive after using. Your body and brain won’t be on full alert.

Know the Risks

Look, cannabis isn’t harmless. You might forget stuff, lose focus, or mess up your logic. Smoking hits your lungs with tar. Overdo it and you could feel sweaty, dizzy, or panicked — what we call a bad trip. Heavy use can lead to dependency. If you’ve got issues with depression or psychosis, think twice. And mixing with alcohol? Terrible idea. If it feels unpredictable, avoid it.

  • Some dAsk us for a low-THC strain.
  • Take it slow. Just a few puffs, then wait ten minutes.
  • Edibles? Wait 30 to 60 minutes before eating more.
  • Only go for round two if you feel good.escription

How Long It Lasts

If you smoke or vape, it hits in a few minutes and peaks for about two to four hours. Edibles? Could take up to an hour and last four to eight hours.

Mind: Might make you feel chill, chatty, or more into music and colors. Or it might bring paranoia. Thoughts can scramble.

Body: Muscles relax, mouth dries out, eyes go red, appetite spikes. You could feel lightheaded or get a racing heart. It all passes. Go for a walk, sip something sweet, and ride it out.

Mood and Setting Matter

Already feeling off? Cannabis could make it worse. Eat first. Use it in a chill spot, with friends you trust. Keep a sugary drink nearby and toss on sunglasses for the eyes and the attitude.

Cannabis turns the volume up on whatever mood you’re already in. So if you're feeling off, it might just drag you deeper. The best time to light up is when you're already chill.

Don't go in on an empty stomach. That’s how you end up dizzy or queasy. Eat something first.

Where you smoke matters. Pick a spot where you feel good. Quiet. Safe. Preferably with a few mates you trust. Have snacks ready. You’ll thank yourself later. And keep something to drink nearby. Water or juice works best. Skip the booze.
